the cottage exceeded our expectations. everything was spotless and it had everything we needed for our stay. the beds were so comfortable, and the wood stove made the evenings cosy. the views were lovely, and there were lots of great places to visit nearby. the hosts were amazing, even welcoming us with fresh scones and jam. we will definitely be going back.

The kitchen at Kestrel Cottage is fully equipped, making it super easy to whip up some delicious meals after a long day of biking. And let me tell you, the bathroom with the bath or shower is the ultimate spot for a relaxing soak to ease those tired muscles.
Personally, I would have preferred another bathroom with a shower instead of a bath or shower. But hey, that's just my personal preference and I'm sure others would still enjoy it.

The cottage decoration was absolutely lovely, with a charming rustic feel that reminded me of my childhood home. The general areas were clean and well-maintained, making it easy for us seniors to move around without any obstacles. , the accessibility for senior people was excellent, with clear paths and handrails throughout the property, ensuring our safety and comfort.
Just one small improvement, I would have appreciated having larger text on the signs and information boards around the cottage. As seniors, our eyesight isn't as sharp as it used to be, and sometimes it was a bit of a challenge to read the small print.

Beautifully designed and well-equipped cottage, converted from a former farm building. Old fireplace adds character, while underfloor heating and good plumbing provide modern comfort. Supermarket nearby, plenty of places to visit within 30 minutes' drive. Friendly, helpful hosts.
